Aura Landscapes is now in its 10th year! This is cause for celebration itself and we thought it time to reflect on how Aura Landscapes has defied the odds and is flourishing it this 10th year of business.
According to the Small Business Association (SBA), this isn’t necessarily true. The SBA states that only 30% of new businesses fail during the first two years of being open, 50% during the first five years and 66% during the first 10. Not Aura Landscapes! Woo Hoo!
One contributing factor is being part of the top manufacturers register scheme – The Marshalls Installer Register. This register is run by the ‘super brand’ and largest manufacturer of paving, Marshalls. They put quality paving installers in front of homeowners like you, who are looking for a ‘proper job’ to be done.
Why the Marshalls Register?
Marshalls are the biggest manufacturer in the industry and for Aura Landscapes meant they had the backing of a national brand to pass onto their customers.
Only high-quality materials are manufactured and made available to homeowners like you, through their registered installer network.
Due to their super brand status we know as a landscaping company that we have support and advice available if needed, so our clients can be sure of the best products and a high-quality installation every time.
Why Should Your Landscaper Be on the Register?
Aura Landscapes chose to be on the Marshalls Installer Register because it had a rigorous inspection process.
All landscapers and paving contractors have regular site inspections by a Marshalls representative to see how they install their projects and the attention to detail.
Customers are often encouraged to give feedback on their installer and the project they have completed to ensure customer service standards are met.
All Marshalls products come with a solid guarantee and they have an entire technical team on hand to ask for advice if there is a problem with a product. Aura Landscapes have utilised this service for our clients if we have noticed a problem whilst on site or after completion.
Any worry and hassle are taken away from you as the client as your landscaper is backed by the largest paving manufacturer, they are hot on customer service and keen to keep improving standards in the industry. Both in the materials sourced and produced and the installers approved to be on their register.
Closing Thoughts and Tips for Homeowners
If you are looking for a quality installer it is important to look at their accreditations and installer memberships. Many manufacturers offer an installer network and will vet their installers to some degree. The lead bodies in the landscaping industry BALI (British Association of Landscaping Industry) & The APL (The Association of Professional Landscapers) will show that your chosen installer not only has a yearly site inspection but a yearly business inspection also. They are in depth inspections and failure to pass means revoking your membership.
It is worth checking insurances of a company. A reputable landscaping company will happily be able to produce their insurance and accreditation certificates as well as references and waste carriers’ licence (important if you don’t want to engage with a fly tipper!)
We at Aura Landscapes hope these tips help you when making a decision on what landscaping company to work with. As you probably already know, we are Marshalls Register Installers, members of the APL, Trustmark Approved and have full insurances and a waste carriers’ licence.
